Avalon Finance, Inc. has been in business since 2002, although it's principals
have been involved with financing for investment real estate since
1992 and is unlike most other commercial mortgage brokers because we
are solely involved in the financing of commercial real estate and
businesses.
Originating commercial loans is much more
complex than residential mortgage origination, and in the past
most of the financing for commercial loans has been done by
conventional banks and lending institutions. That however, is
now changing and in the last few years a whole new industry of
commercial loan brokering has emerged. The problem is that most
of these new so-called "commercial" mortgage brokers are only
residential brokers who also handle commercial loans, and
because they "flip-flop" between residential and commercial
lending they never really become experts in their field. Another
drawback is that the commercial loans these brokers can source
typically have a maximum amount of about $5 million.
Unlike these other brokers,
here at Avalon Finance, we have made a conscious decision, that in
order to provide the best possible service to our clients. We do not
get involved with residential loans at all, and are therefore able to
concentrate 100% of our time on becoming experts in the field of
commercial finance and lending.
